Jack Lawrence Chalker (December 17, 1944 - February 11, 2005) was an American science fiction author.

Career and family life
He was natural around Baltimore, Maryland. He earned the postgraduate degree inside history from Johns Hopkins University, and taught history at a high school level. He was too a lecturer at the Smithsonian Institution, the National Institutes of Health, & many colleges & universities, mostly in science fiction and technology cases. Death

In September 18 2003, during Hurricane Isabel, Chalker was rushed to the hospital because of a diabetic heart attack.

Chalker was diagnosed by having congestive heart failure on December 7, 2004 when rushed to the hospital again using leg pains & heavily external respiration when walking. He was hospitalized around critical trouble, upgraded to stalls in December 9, though he didn't regain consciousness until December 15. When many supplementary weeks within deterioriating afflictiin, & many transfers to different hospitals, he died on February 11, 2005 of kidney failure and sepsis in Bon Secours of Baltimore, Maryland.

Chalker and SF
